Ep1. A Certain Way To Wealth

Ep1. A Certain Way To Wealth

So, what is this Science of Getting Rich all about and why should we get excited? To answer the question, the hypothesis is that there's a certain way to wealth. That wealth is an achievable destination. Wealth is a journey that everybody is entitled to undertake. There is no qualification to wealth.

I can assure you 100% that the amazingly wealthy people that I know, almost none of them deserve to be wealthy. But they got there eventually. And that should perk you up because by any small chance, you are probably wiser than many of these people. You are probably more determined than many of these people. But for better or for worse, your time has not come.

And I'm saying, go get a map and open it up. Get directions. Because then all you need to do is to take the path less traveled. But where does it all start?

That is the million-dollar question.

It starts with this thinking, "There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made and which in its original state permeates, penetrates and fills the interspaces of the Universe."

So there is a beginning, from which all things are made. Source, an original source that account for everything in this Universe.

"A thought in this substance produces the thing, that is imaged by the thought."

This is a fairly confusing sentence when you read it for the first time. But if you read it for the second time and third time, it's starting to make sense, and you have to look at it in context, with the next line.

"A person can form things in his thought, and by impressing his thought upon formless substance, can cause the thing he thinks to be created."

Wallace D Walters is now linking the thought in your mind to articulating the thought. He provides a little bit more direction.

"In order to do this, a person must pass from the competitive to the creative mind. Otherwise, he cannot be in harmony with formless intelligence, which is always creative and never competitive in spirit."

You may not understand everything he's saying at this point in time, but he's giving you a general direction. He says that everything is created from the beginning. There is a thinking stuff. And he says a person, can by the mere thought create. And he shows an example of how. Before a person's thoughts can be realized and created, he must move from being competitive to being creative. He needs to have a creative spirit, not competitive.

Have you been competitive in life versus creative? Do you care about what your neighbor does? How successful your primary schoolmate is? Do you focus on these things or do you focus on being creative?

Only? You have the answer!
