"He must give to every person a use value in excess of the cash value he receives so that each transaction makes for more life, and he must hold the advancing thought so that the impression of increase will be communicated to all with whom he comes into contact."
I find this paragraph very revealing towards the concept of giving more than receiving.
He gives some form of comfort and assurance. He says, "The man and woman who practice the foregoing instructions will certainly get rich."
We're talking about someone who is very precise in the language. He didn't say "May get rich." He says's "Will certainly get rich." And he says this "And the riches they receive will be in exact proportion to the definiteness of their vision, the fixity of their purpose, the steadiness of their faith, and the depth of their gratitude."
In one paragraph, he summarizes your reward and he says your reward is certain, and in exact proportion to these following ingredients: How definite your vision is? How fixed are you of your purpose? How steady are you in your faith? And how much debt you have in your gratitude?
